Important public meeting in Carrick-on-Suir this Sunday

A public meeting to set up a protest group to oppose attempts to locate a section of the Eirgrid Grid Link power line project in the Carrick-on-Suir area will take place at Carrickbeg Community Hall on Sunday.

The meeting, organised by Independent Cllr Pierce Oâ€™Loughlin, will run from 3pm to 5pm.
