The Nationalist gives a forum for people to speak out

The Nationalist is a spirited and widely read newspaper since it was established in 1890.

The Nationalist is a spirited and widely read newspaper since it was established in 1890.

It has served the people of Clonmel and South Tipperary well.

I like the instant access to breaking news which can be used as a useful resource when looking for local snippets from engagements to who had a new baby.

It contains news regarding current events, informative articles with diverse features.

This is largely due to the editorial staff at the paper. The paper has gained a reputation for being outspoken on local issues and for taking on the causes of those who have no forum to air their views.

I also like the local community news features from the various villages and towns in the County which is complimented by pictures from sports events to local issues which affect the people of the areas.

I find the reporters and staff very approachable and helpful when issues that affect the people of Tipperary have to be aired.

The success of the paper is due largely to the many news storeys featuring the latest up to date news from Tipperary.

I have great faith in the paper continuing to flourish into the future and I look forward to working with the Nationalist Staff to insure the demands from its growing readership continue.
