Tipperary Food Producers Network is a community that encompasses the Premier County’s wide range of creative and traditional food and beverage businesses. The group works together to promote Tipperary as a centre of excellence for food production and to foster the highest standards of taste and quality. The group maintains a strong focus on innovation. Many of the network’s members are artisans producing locally sourced, organic, ‘slow-food’ and other specialist creations.
Mairead English-Maher, Local Enterprise Office, Tipperary, described the producers as an excellent example of businesses coming together to share their unique knowledge and experience to open up new opportunities for a whole region. Tipperary’s lush landscape and agricultural heritage means that we produce some of the world’s best produce. The group provides the fabric that turns this wonderful natural resource into world-beating, export-ready products”.
