Cahir Country Market is open every Friday morning from 9am to 11.30am in the Community Hall, behind the Post Office. Buy all your buns, scones, cakes, breads and pies at the market. Also available are fresh eggs, vegetables, bedding plants and flowers and shrubs. There is also a selection of home crafted items which would make fantastic gifts. Come on down and meet local producers and stay for a cup of tea at Cahir Country Market.
Cahir Farmers Market
The Market takes place every Saturday in the picturesque Castle car park in Cahir from 9am until 1pm. There is the finest of locally produced fresh fruit, vegetables, juices, home baking, savoury foods, delicious paté’s and terrines, locally produced cheeses and eggs. With a great selection of fresh fish at Pat Hartley’s stall, Crowe’s pork, bacon, turkey and ham products at O’Connor’s stall, delicious cookies from the Cookie Jar and even South African Style sausages which can be cooked to order or taken home, there is something for everyone’s taste. John Bales has joined the Market and is providing lots of colour with his fantastic range of flowers, bedding plants, shrubs and pots can be made to order too.
