Book on old Clonmel photos to be launched

Former staff photographer with ‘The Nationalist’, Donal Wylde, will launch a book of old photographs of Clonmel from the 1960s and 70s in South Tipperary County Museum on Friday evening.

Former staff photographer with ‘The Nationalist’, Donal Wylde, will launch a book of old photographs of Clonmel from the 1960s and 70s in South Tipperary County Museum on Friday evening.

‘The Light of Other Days’ provides a wonderful photographic record of life in the town half a century ago.

Following his time in ‘The Nationalist’, Mr Wylde went on to enjoy a long and successful career as an RTE camerman
