Clonmel Waste Disposal has provided waste management, disposal and recycling to the community and industry of South Tipperary since 1989.

The family-run company started its domestic bin collection service early in 2010 and it has been a major success, leading to the recent expansion. Clonmel Waste Disposal recently signed up its 2,000th customer for its bin collection service.

The 9 new positions have been created across the business. They include a sales manager; an operations manager to cope with the extra waste generated; four people who work on a processing line that segregates mixed dry recyclables from household waste; two drivers on the vehicles that service the extra routes; and an additional helper on the trucks.

The company, based at Lawlesstown, on the Clonmel-Cashel Road is also pleased that the new positions have all been filled by locals.
