The 57th Annual Bansha show is on Wednesday, August 21.

“The show embodies the concept of one happy family as expressed by the late John Canon Hayes, founder of Muintir na Tire,” said Anne Bourke, Secretary. There is something for everyone at the show including classes for cattle, ponies, horses, sheep, fruit, flowers, vegetables and home crafts, as well as a Bonny Baby show and Fancy Dress competitions for the children.

The Dog show always brings large numbers to the rings and there are also sheep dog trials. This year the carriage driving classes have returned and there will be numerous trade stands and exhibitors on the field and bouncy castles and children’s roundabouts to entertain the little ones. Closing date for entries is Wednesday, August 14. Late Entries will be accepted after that date. Contact: Anne Bourke 086/3379447.
