Clonmel Chamber Shopping Vouchers have been widely used throughout the town since their introduction in 2009. Almost eighty businesses in the town accept them from customers.

Now, with Christmas approaching the Chamber is eager to increase the amount of voucher accepting businesses to one hundred or more.

They are about to embark on a marketing campaign for the voucher scheme aimed at companies and individuals. This campaign will highlight how Clonmel Chamber Shopping Vouchers make an ideal gift for Christmas and how they support local businesses and jobs.

“Clonmel Chamber has always been committed to supporting local businesses. We believe that if we have more businesses willing to accept the Clonmel Chamber Shopping Vouchers that more people will be willing to purchase them as a gift for a colleague, friend or relation” said Chamber CEO Brian Cleary.

“There is no cost to enter the scheme and we only charge a redemption fee of 3% to companies returning the vouchers. This is significantly lower than almost all other voucher schemes in operation at the moment. Furthermore the funds raised in redemption fees are then used to print more vouchers and to market the scheme” he added.

Any business in Clonmel considering accepting the Clonmel Chamber Shopping Vouchers should contact Brian Cleary at the Clonmel Chamber on 052 61 26500 or by email: brian.cleary@clonmelchamber.com
