Clonmel Chamber makes Boundary Commission submission
Clonmel Chamber has made a formal submission to the Local Electoral Area Boundary Committee putting forth a number of proposals for the creation of Municipal District Centres in County Tipperary.
Within the newly amalgamated County Tipperary there will be forty elected representatives serving a number of Municipal District Centres. Clonmel Chamber has proposed that five such MDC’s be created and that Clonmel should align with Cahir to create a centre with a population in excess of 38,000 people.
