A Debs Ball in Clonmel in 1996. From left: Brian Pollard, Rachel Kennedy, Brenda Kiely and Brian O'Gorman. Next week's Special Supplement "Clonmel in the 80s and 90s" will contain over 120 photographs of interest.

We had a fantastic response to the supplement “Clonmel in the 1980s” which we published earlier this year. In next week’s issue of ‘The Nationalist’ we return once more to the 1980s but also include many images from the early 1990s. This special supplement will contain approximately 120 photographs of a bygone Clonmel - a pictorial glance back at life in the town two to three decades ago.

We will cover as many themes as possible to get a true picture of those fast-fading days - the much-changed street landscape, the still familiar and some forgotten faces, the social scene, the sporting life, the dress and hair styles, the
personalities, the young and the old - sadly many now since departed to their eternal reward.

Everyone will know someone and no one will know everyone!

So watch out for ‘The Nationalist’ on sale next Wednesday.

We hope you will enjoy your trip with us down memory lane.
