Clonmel men wait for Hurricane Sandy in Boston

editorial image

As the east coast of the US braced itself for the arrival of Hurricane/Superstorm Sandy on Monday night, two Clonmel men were among those waiting to see the impact of the storm.

Eddie Ryan and Robbie O’Mahony made their way to the shoreline at Carson Beach, South Boston to see the huge seas.

There they unfurled a Tipperary hurling banner to think of home!

Even though Sandy was still hundreds of miles off shore, the wind and rain buffeted the two Tipp men as they stood on the beach
