Clonmel’s Paul Walsh joins Sharon Corr’s team on the Voice of Ireland

Clonmel’s Paul Walsh, lead singer with Royseven, was invited by SinAwil Productions and Sharon Corr to act as mentor to Sharon Corr’s team on the Voice of Ireland.

Paul worked with Sharon’s team during their rehearsals for The Battle shows and will also take his seat alongside Sharon on The Voice Of Ireland for The Battle shows, the first of which will be broadcast next Sunday February 17 on RTE 1 Television.

Paul Walsh is the lead singer, and songwriter with Irish chart toppers, Royseven.

Signed to Warner Music, their Number 1 album “You Say, We Say” featured the Choice Music Prize song of the year and the most played song on Irish radio in 2011; “We Should Be Lovers”. The album delivered five hit singles! The band is currently writing new material for their next release.

Having toured Europe with One Republic, Brian Adams and the Kaiser Chiefs, performed at leading festivals from Rock am Ring to the Montreux Jazz Festival, Royseven are considered one of the most exciting and accomplished live acts to come out of Ireland.

Paul has also written songs for other signed artists and worked with some of the world’s best vocal coaches. Paul is an Ambassador with Youth Mental Health Charity Think Big. Paul’s face will be familiar to viewers from shows such as Two Tube, The Hit and Sing.
