Fillies Friday night out at Tipperary races
Get the girls together for the Fillies Friday Night Out at Tipperary Racecourse this Friday 10th August and enjoy the fun and the fashion with spot prizes on the night for the funkiest dressed. Savour the atmosphere in the outdoor marquee area serving BBQ food and Mojitos with music throughout the evening from The Vendettas.
First Race 5.30pm
The evening will feature a super seven race card with two listed contests, The Abergwaun Stakes & The Coolmore Canford Cliffs Stakes; cheer on the Leading Ladies of Irish Racing as they go head to head in the final race on the card. Miss Sunday World Esmé Mansergh Wallace and Limerick Rose Suzanne O’Brien will also be on hand to judge the fashion on show and will be handing out some fantastic spot prizes throughout the evening. The prizes include hampers from Distinct Distribution and include all your beauty favourites including ‘Sleep in Rollers’ which are fast becoming every filly’s best friend!
On the Night the 2012 Pride of Tipperary Aoife O’Meara will make a cheque presentation to the Tipperary Lions Club. The Pride of Tipperary 2012 was a wonderful event and as the fundraising benefactor the Tipperary Lions Club will receive a cheque for an incredible €5,000.
Tickets will be on sale throughout the evening for the Hurling for Cancer Research event which sees Davy Russell’s team take on Jim Bolger’s team in Newbridge on August 14th. There is an incredible line up and it is sure to be a super night.
The Side Saddle Association of Ireland will be sending down their team who will offer a unique opportunity to see some of the countries best side saddle riders in a demonstration before the Dublin Horse Show next week.
Admission is just €10 for adults, €8 for students and seniors and all Under 18’s are FREE – FIRST RACE 5.30pm
