International honour for Poulmucka Ploughman

Congratulations to competitors of Poulmucka Ploughing Association who ploughed representing South Tipperary at the National Ploughing Championships that took place in Heath Park, New Ross in Wexford recently.

Well done to Lorcan Bergin who achieved third place in the U21 Senior Class and John O’Brien Jnr., for achieving third Place in the U28 Senior Class section. Congratulations also to Larry Bergin, who came second representing Ireland at the Five Nations Ploughing Championships that took place in Wales. Well done, a great achievement.

Poulmucka Ploughing Association will hold their annual ploughing match on Sunday, November 4, by kind permission on the lands of the Keily Family (Knockfee).
