Questions and Answers at the Main Guard

Clonmel Chamber of Commerce will host Questions and Answers at The Main Guard at 6.15pm this evening, Wednesday, October 3rd. The event will give members of the business community the opportunity to question key decision-makers and opinion-shapers in the public sector.

The Mayor of Clonmel, Billy Shoer will be joined by Minister Brian Hayes TD, Junior Minister with responsibility for Public Sector Reform; Deputy Tom Hayes and Ger Walsh, Town Clerk for Clonmel. Fran Curry from Tipp FM will chair the event.

Members of the business community will be able to put questions and suggestions to the panel. The event will be staged at an interesting time, before the unveiling of the Budget and the presentation of the Clonmel Borough Council budget for the coming year. Topics suggested so far include commercial rates, access to finance for local companies, the public sector reform agenda and the development of the town.

This free event is open to all members of the business community, although pre-booking is essential. Bookings may be made on the Clonmel Chamber website www.clonmelchamber.com.

Tickets for the event, which promises to provide lively, entertaining and informative debate, are free.
