Teagasc to offer free advice clinics

Teagasc is to hold a nationwide series of free forestry advisory clinics for people who are considering forestry or existing forest owners.

The clinics, which are organised by Teagasc’s Forestry Development Department and supported by the Department of Agriculture, offer one-to-one consultations with Teagasc forestry advisors. The advisory clinics are also open to existing forest owners who may wish to discuss forest management or obtain advice on management, thinning and marketing timber.

As the clinics involve a one-to-one discussion anyone interested in attending must make an appointment. Contact your local Teagasc office. The Clonmel clinic will be held on Thursday, January 23, ring 0526121300. The Nenagh clinic will be on January 27, ring 06731821.
