Trying to trace owner of dog killed in Cahir
Vets in Cahir are trying to trace the owner of a dog knocked down and killed in the town on Thursday.
Cahir Veterinary Clinic, Millbuilding, Church Street say an injured Jack Russell Terrier was found by a passer-by on the outskirts of Cahir town on the Cashel Road. He seemed to have been hit by a car in a road traffic accident. He passed away on arrival at the Veterinary Clinic next to the Cahir Post Office.
The old male Jack Russell was not microchipped, and therefore they are appealing for anyone who might be able to help them trace the owners.
He must have been over 10 years old and was not wearing any collar.
Any help would be appreciated. Please phone the clinic at 052 7442393, and ask for Lesley, Tommie or Folke.
