Cashel panto group stage ‘Sleeping Beauty’

Cashel pantomime is pleased to announce that the society’s 2013 production Sleeping Beauty will be staged in Halla na Feile from Thursday February 21st to Sunday February 24th [By kind permission of Mr 
Thomas Murphy].

This year’s show promises to be as usual a panto of fun, skits, hilarious laughter and excellent chorus numbers to banish away all the blues.

The show is along the usual lines until the big bad wolf from Little Red Riding Hood appears and then all hell 
breaks loose.

The cast this year includes a number of new faces who have not thread the boards before. Playing the role of Princess Aurora is Anastasia Blake, David Ryan in the roll of Prince Philip, playing his father King Hubert is Joss Tobin, and Aurora parents King Stefan and Queen Clara by Mark Edwards and Martina Flanagan, the Princes nanny is played by Andrea Keane.

The three Fairy Godmothers are Sherine Prendergast. Lorraine Corbett and Amanda Smith, The evil and fourth sister is Jacinta Barry, her two henchmen are played with great comedy by Niamh Ryan (Bob) and John Hally. The wolf is played by Rory O’Donnell and the narrator by Edel O Meara.
