Cashel Handball Club recently hosted the first ever Michael Purcell Memorial Cup competition. Sixteen teams from all over Ireland travelled to Cashel and Horse & Jockey to compete in the 40x20 competition.

After a great day of exciting and competitive handball Jack O'Shea and John Joe Quirke from Glenbeigh in Kerry overcame Cashel's John Ferncombe and Daniel Hayes in the final.
