Delight and jubilation were the order of the day in Coláiste Chluain Meala, Raheen Road, when the Junior Certificate results arrived.

The Junior Cert class of 2012 certainly lived up to the high expectations held out for them from the time they entered the school as First Years. Results right across the board were excellent. Students achieved A and B grades in a whole spectrum of subjects at higher level, with a pass rate across all subjects close to 99%.

These results are indicative of the huge commitment and dedication to their work and the great ability and talent of these boys and girls. Their results were well-earned and well-deserved. The delight of the students as results were handed out, and the pride of their parents and teachers in their achievements, marked 12th September as a very special day at Coláiste Chluain Meala.

These students now begin their senior cycle with a greater sense of confidence and optimism, aware that hard work is rewarded.

Their motto for 2014 is “Is féidir linn”.
