County Final win for Cahir camogie U16s

The Cahir camogie U16 team had a fantastic win against old rivals Toomevara in the A county final in the Ragg on Wednesday, August 29. Cahir had won the U16B championship last year and were now competing in the A championship.

The final whistle sounded to great scenes of jubilation and joy among the Cahir followers. Well done to all the girls who displayed great team work throughout and fought for every ball. Well done to the management team of

Mary Howard, Marie Casey, Carol Keating, Anthony Corcoran and Martin Halpin for their hard work and dedication. Thanks to all the parents, friends and supporters from Cahir who travelled to the match. It was brilliant to see a big following from Cahir.

Team: Keeley Halpin, Clara O’Donnell, Ellen English, Claire Doyle, Emma Buckley, Eileen Flannery, Aishling Moloney, Grainne Quirke, Aisling McCarthy, Joye Arbuckle, Roisin Howard, Maureen Murphy, Aoife Corcoran, Roisin

O’Donnell, Eadaoin O’Gorman, Caoimhe Condon, Kirsty Arbuckle, Shauna Burke, Carol Casey, Roisin Costigan, Laura Dillon, Katie Farrell and Claire Walsh.
