Enjoyable Evening at Retired Social

A very enjoyable evening was had by all who attended the annual dinner and social evening for the local Active Retired Group, which took place in Cahir House Hotel last Wednesday, February 20.

The meal was excellent. Great numbers attended from Cahir with great numbers also attending from neighbouring Active Retirement Associations.

Stefan Grace, as usual, had everyone dancing the light fantastic. A banjo solo, songs etc., provided added enjoyment to the evening.

The results of the card game played on last Friday, February 22: 1st with 9 games were Mary Fitzgerald, Bridget Fanning, Harry Tobin, Peg Reidy. On the Lucky Table were Teddy Dillon, Lexie Sheehan, Rita Walsh and Kitty Slattery. Raffle results: Rita Walsh and Lexie Sheehan.

The next card game will take place this Friday, March 1. All welcome to attend.

The monthly meeting will take place next Wednesday, March 6, at 2.30pm.
