Ballingarry got the better of near neighbour and keen rivals Killenaule in the South Tipperary senior hurling championship at Monroe, winninig 1-22 to 0-14.
Both teams were already through to the semi-finals but that didn’t less the intensity of the game and four players were sent off, two from each side, following a fracas in the closing stages.
All four will now miss the semi-finals.
Ballingarry were the better team with outstanding displays from goalie James Logue,Ian Ivors, Philip Ivors, Donal Shelley, Seanie Cahill, Ger Fennelly and Adrian Cleere with Killenaule’s John O’Dwyer and Niall Bergin the best of the rest,
