Tipp will go into the game in good heart following wins on the trot over London, Clare and table toppers Limerick and another win will keep them very much in the race for a promotion place to Division Three.

The league had started off badly for Tipp with defeats to Carlow and Waterford but now they are joint second in the table with Offaly and a win over Leitrim would further boost prospects.
