Tipperary ladies football team to play Limerick

Tipperary last played on 13th July in the TG4 Munster Intermediate Championship Final where they met a stronger Waterford team.

Since then they have been training well and on the weekend of August 10 they will meet Limerick. Tipperary previously met Limerick this year in the TG4 Munster Intermediate Championship in Sean Treacy Park, Tipperary Town. Tipperary defeated Limerick on that occasion on a score line Tipperary 4-16 Limerick 2-10. Follow us on Twitter for full details of the fixture once confirmed.

Well done to Keith Delahunty, Moyle Rovers who refereed the All Ireland Minor A Championship clash of Dublin and Galway in MacDonagh Park, Nenagh on the Bank Holiday Monday.

TESCO HOMEGROWN ALL IRELAND CLUB 7 A SIDE COMPETITIONS 

The closing date for the Tesco Homegrown All-Ireland Club Seven-a-Side competitions is Friday 9th August and the competition will take place on Saturday the 28th of September.  The Junior, Intermediate and Senior All Ireland Sevens will be held in St. Sylvester’s GAA Club and Naomh Mearnóg GAA Clubs.  Entry forms for each grade are all available on our website www.tipperaryladiesfootball.ie

TIPPERARY UNDER 8 AND UNDER 10 BLITZES

The Under 8 and Under 10 Blitz which was due to be held in Galtee Rovers GAA Grounds in Bansha on Saturday, August 3rd has been rescheduled to August 24th. Both blitzes will begin at 11am. All teams are required to bring their own referee on the day. Any clubs interested in taking part are asked to email tipplfsecretary@hotmail.com by Wednesday August 21st with the number of teams they wish to enter and a contact number for the person in charge of the team. 

LADIES GAELIC FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION CELEBRATES ITS 40TH ANNIVERSARY

This year Ladies Gaelic Football celebrates the 40th Ladies All Ireland Senior Football Championship in Croke Park on September 29th. As part of the celebrations of the 40th All Ireland Championship, every player that has ever contested a Senior, Junior or Intermediate final are being invited to return to Croke Park to take part in the celebrations. In order to do this we need to get in touch with every player, anyone with contact details for these players can email ladiesfootballtipperary@gmail.com or contact a County Board Officer.

WANT TO PLAY IN CROKE PARK?

The Ladies Gaelic Football Association is offering your club the chance to play in Croke Park at their 40th All Ireland Final on September 29th. They require 6 Under 10 teams and 6 Gaelic4Mothers & Others teams to play at half time of the three TG4 All- Ireland Championship Finals. (All teams should consist of 10 players per team). An Under 14 team (12 players per team) is required to assist as Ball Girls during the three All-Ireland Championship Finals and three Under 14 teams are needed to officiate at the half time of the Exhibition Games (12 Players per team).
