The All Ireland winning Tipperary minor footballers returned home to a heroes’ welcome on Monday night.

The All Ireland winning Tipperary minor footballers returned home to a heroes’ welcome on Monday night.

They were welcomed to Thurles by a crowd of thousands and were greeted on the steps of the cathedral in a time honoured fashion by the Archbishop of Cashel and Emly and Patron of the GAA, Dr Dermot Clifford.

On Tuesday the cup was scheduled for Clonmel where the backbone of the team come from.
