Declan Ryan’s Tipperary face Cork

Tipperary senior hurling manager Declan Ryan will enter his first game following the shock departure of Lar Corbett from the squad when his team take on Cork in the Waterford Crystal Tournament semi-final at Templemore on Sunday. Two weeks later Tipperary take on All Ireland champions Kilkenny in the first round of the National Hurling League in a repeat of the All Ireland final for the past three years.

Ryan has denied any rift in the departure of All Star Corbett and said the door is always open for him to return.

Sunday’s game has been switched from Clonmel to Templemore.
