Victory for U21s
Cashel’s U21s are right back in the mix again in the West championship courtesy of a fine win over Arravale Rovers 2-13 to 2-08.
Having lost narrowly to Clonoulty in round one it was vital the lads got a victory under their belt to ensure they remain in contention and they did this with a thoroughly deserved victory.
A win over Kickams in the next game would guarantee a Semi final spot. Well done to those involved and keep it going.
Our minors are out next Saturday in the County Semi Final against St. Mary’s.
This will be a tight encounter but Cashel showed a fantastic attitude in the West final success over Clonoulty and should they repeat the dose then they will take all the beating.
So let’s all get to Cahir on Saturday next for a 2.30pm throw in and support players and management alike in their bid to get to the County A minor hurling final. We are all behind you!

After experiencing the highs in the semi final defeating Gael Scoil Durlas in a cracking game, Cashel NS found a team just too good in Two Mile Borris in the County final. The opening five minutes were defining for Cashel as the concession of three goals made things even harder.
But credit to the team they battled hard and while the score line of 5-5 to 1-04 suggests a heavy defeat, the overall effort was good from the boys and they competed for every ball.
Such is sport one day your up next day your down, the players and management can look with pride and look forward with plenty of optimism.
The Cashel King Cormac’s club would like to extend its sincerest sympathies to the Reade family on the sad passing of Karen Reade. Ar dheis De go raibh a hanam uasal.
