Tipperary are out of this Munster’s senior football championship following their 2-16 to 0-11 defeat to Kerry in Killarney on Sunday. Underdogs Tipp were still well in contention at half time when they trailed by four points 0-9 to 0-5, after playing into the breeze, but they never recovered from an early Kerry penalty in the second half scored by Bryan Sheehan. Tipp also had a Barry Grogan goal disallowed for a square ball infringement.
Tipp juniors also lost to Kerry in the curtain-raiser.
