Important juvenile meeting on Saturday

St. Mary’s Hurling Club

Meeting this Saturday at 9.10 am in the Dressing Rooms to plan out the next month. If you are involved with any team from under 6’s right up to under 16’s you are welcome to attend.

If you want something discussed or have an idea for the Juveniles please inform John Carew or Dessie Gunne, or simply come along on Saturday morning.

This meeting is action focused on what we want to get done with Juveniles in the next month.

The next meeting will take place this Friday evening from 7.00 to 8.00, please check your text on Friday re: venue

Open Forum and Club Plan

Thanks to everyone who turned up last Wednesday night and to Brendan Tobin from Waterford who was our facilitator. A number of sub committees were set up to work over the next month in drawing up a five year plan for the club. If you have any suggestions/ ideas regarding things you want to see happening in the club please contact the relevant chair of the sub committee.

These are Club Administration: Sean O’Sullivan, Finance: John O’Connor, Facilities: Brendan Cagney and Coaching: John Carew.

Bag Pack

The Juvenile club held a bag pack in Tesco’s on Good Friday and Holy Saturday. Thanks to all the members, parents and players who helped out over the two days making this a successful fund raiser.

Congratulations

Congratulations to Seamus Kennedy on captaining the Tipp under 21 footballers to success in the Munster U21 football Semi Final, against Clare. Well done also to his playing colleagues from the club, Jason Lonergan, Evan Comerford, Ian Fahey and Michael Quinlivan.

We wish Tipperary all the best in the final against Cork.

Sympathy

The club extends its sympathy to the Trehy family of Springmount on the death of William last week. William’s sons John and Paul are valued members and players with the club.

The club would like to extend its sympathy to Jimmy Ryan, Wheatfield, on the death of his uncle Johnny Ryan of Connolly Park. Jimmy coaches our under 14 team and in also involved with the South Juvenile Division.

May they both Rest In Peace.
