Tipperary GAA holds it ‘Gathering’

Tipperary GAA’s Gathering events took place last weekend in Bru Boru, Cashel and after the games in Limerick on Sunday.

Tipperary GAA’s Gathering events took place last weekend in Bru Boru, Cashel and after the games in Limerick on Sunday.

On Saturday night in Bru Boru a marvellous night of Irish music, song, dance and recitation was viewed by a large attendance.

Congratulations to all the participants for their excellent performances and to all the organisers including County Cultural Officer, Seosaimhín Níi Chathail, County Scor Chairperson, Noel Joyce and Secretary, Mary Bourke; County Secretary, Tim Floyd and event co-ordinator, Michael Cooney and all who helped make the event a such a success. We are particularly grateful to all the overseas visitors from the USA, Canada, Australia, Great Britain and other places who came to the events. We hope they enjoyed their visits. Thanks are due to Irish Public Bodies Insurance for their sponsorship of the events, to Cllr Michael Fitzgerald who is one of the directors of IPB Insurance for his support, also to South Tipperary County Council’s Gathering Committee, and Tipp GAA’s Gathering Committee chaired by Joe Brennan with Jerry Ring as secretary.
