Our Golf Classic takes place this Friday.

A huge thank you to the many businesses and individuals who have put in teams or supported a Tee box. The presentation of prizes will take place on Friday night in the Golf Club at 9.00 pm. All St Mary’s members, past and present are welcome and on the night there will be a free lucky dip

Under 10 Tournament

This Friday 23rd and Saturday 24th in the Sportsfield we host our 3rd Annual U10 Tournament. Once again nearly 300 boys from all over the country will participate in a programme of games, showcasing all the skills of hurling. Throw in begins Friday evening and will conclude on Saturday approx 4pm. Clubs from counties such as Dublin, Galway, Clare, Limerick, Cork, Offaly, Kilkenny, Waterford and Tipperary will be present.

Following the day’s games, we are hosting a BBQ evening in Moynihans Pub and all club coaches, committee members, those helping out with the tournament andunder 10 parents are encouraged to come along and round off what should be a fantastic day for both young and old.

Lotto winner

Congrats to Geraldine Caroll, a sister of Brian Caroll who won 200 euro in our club lotto last Saturday night. Thanks to Chawkes pub for hosting the draw. The jackpot was not won and rolls over to our next draw in two weeks time

Minors, Under 16’s and Under 14’s

On Monday 26th at 7.00 pm our under 16 team will play Ballybacon in Goatenbridge. Congrats to our under 14s last Thursday night who beat Carrick Swan while our Minors on last Wednesday night beat Ballingarry

Under 6s

Last Saturday our under 6s had a blitz in our field with teams from Cahir, Mullinahone and Clerihan taking part.

Leaving Cert results

The club would like to congratulate all the lads who got their Leaving Cert results last Wednesday and we wish them the best of luck as they head into their futures as adults


The club would like to offer its sympathy to the Carroll family and especially to Connie on the death of his mother last week. May she rest in peace.
