Commercials to run Clonmel’s Got Talent again

For the third year Clonmel Commercials will be staging the Premier talent show in the area.

Clonmel’s Got Talent will run again in 2014 and is open to pupils of all schools in the area.

There are two distinct sections for both primary and secondary schools. Entry forms are now available to download from the club’s website www.commercialsgfc.com. Deadline for entries is January 29.

Due to the inclement weather all under 21 championship games fixed for last weekend were postponed.

It is expected that a full round of games will take place this coming weekend.

Commercials/St.Mary’s Lotto: The Lotto Draw takes place on this coming Saturday night. The jackpot is now €2,800 get your ticket from any committee member. Anyone caring to join the lotto for a twelve month period can avail of the special offer of a full year’s membership for just €45 or a six month subscription costs just €25. Please support the club’s lotto.

Sports Table Quiz: Well done to Charlie McGeever and his team who won last week’s Sports Table Quiz held in Mulcahy’s. Thanks to all who supported the club.

County Footballers: Best of luck to the county senior footballers who play their first game of the National League on Sunday in an away fixture against Carlow. On February 9 they play their first home game against Waterford. This game is fixed for Clonmel.

Membership: Club membership is now due. Adult membership is €30 while Juvenile membership is just €15. Students and unemployed can also join for just €15 while family membership (2 adults and 2 juveniles) is available for just €40. Please pay membership to any committee members as soon as possible. Under 21 players please take special notice of membership as without paying membership there is no insurance cover. Without insurance you cannot play.

Sympathy: The club extends it sympathy to the family and friends of the late Alice McCullagh from Templemore. Alice’s son Tom has been a valued member of our club for many years as has Alison McNamara who is a grand daughter of Alice. May she rest in Peace.
