Tipperary’s top sports stars were honoured with Annerville Awards at the weeknd.

Tipperary’s top sports stars were honoured with Annerville Awards at the weeknd.

They were presented at a gala ceremony in the Clonmel Park Hotel.

There were winners in seventeen different categories with the top accolade, the Knocknagow Award, going to Tipperary hurling legend Ton Wall, who won five All Ireland titles with Tipp - including captaining the side to the Liam McCarthy Cup in 1958 - and eleven county titles with Thurles Sarsfields.

The awards were presented by Eoin O’Gorman, representing the sponsors, Bulmers.
