Declan Ryan launches Tipp Supporters Club membership drive

The Tipperary Supporters Club launched the 2011 Adult Membership on Thursday, January 20 at the Horse & Jockey Hotel.

A large attendance travelled from far and wideand included Declan Ryan, Senior Manager, and Ken Hogan, Under 21 Manager, along with players Samus Callanan, Brendan Cummins, Pat Kerwick, Brendan Maher, Padraic Maher and Paddy Stapleton. County Board Officers, Barry O'Brien, Sen Nugent, Tim Floyd and The Tipperary Supporters Club launched the 2011 Adult Membership on Thursday, January 20 at the Horse & Jockey Hotel. Tipperary's success-fulyear was reflected in thetrophies on display,the LiamMcCarthy Cup, the All-Ireland and Munster Under 21 trophies and the All-Ireland Under 16 Cup, a competition which is sponsoredby the Tipperary Supporters Club.On the night, a three year extension to that sponsorship was announced.

Adult Membership in 2011 will cost €30 (unchanged since 2005). Each Adult Membership Card will be accompanied by a Tipperary Car/Window Sticker and a gift of aDVD featuring the complete All-Ireland Senior Hurling Final of 2010 as well as highlights of the All-Ireland Under 21 Final. This special DVD is produced by Sideline, the Irish company with exclusive rights from the GAA for such DVDs and is kindly sponsored by Cityjet www.cityjet.com .You can view an image of this special souvenir DVD sleeveon the website www.tippsupportersclub.com.

Adult Members will be entered in Ticket Draws for five pairs of stand tickets before each of Tipperary's Munster and All-Ireland championship games. They will also be entered in a Draw for an All-Ireland Hurling Weekend stay at the Four Star Louis Fitzgerald Hotel, Dublin (match tickets included). Also members can access a discount scheme and will receive regular updates by email on team news, match reports and events. In addition members providing phone numbers will receive text alerts with Tipperary SH Championship team selections.

Declan Ryan, manager of the Tipperary Senior Hurling team, performed the launch and urged all Tipperary supporters to join the Club.Declan also outlined his plans for the team in 2011 and progress to date.

The Committee is actively seeking more people interested in helping the Tipperary hurling effort. We want to extend the adult membership base further throughout the county and anybody who would like to take some Supporters Club memberships to join up their friends is welcome to contact Supporters Club PRO and Membership Officer, John Coman on 087-9087105 or by email at info@tippsupportersclub.com . Supporters can join on line on www.tippsupportersclub.com by credit card or debit card. On the website details are also available of the direct debit facility; as the Club is run on a completely voluntary basis it would be a great help of members could join by direct debit.
