Tipp footballers too strong for Limerick IT

Goals from Conor Sweeney and a Philip Austin penalty in the first half were also crucial to Tipp’s win.

Manager John Evans gave senior debuts to four players, including Clonmel Commercials’ Michael Quinlivan who was one of Tipp’s heroes in the All Ireland minor final win over Dublin

They now meet Waterford IT in the next round this weekend.
