Congratulations to our minor team who beat Mullinhone in an exciting semi final last Saturday 2-18 to 3-13. The lads showed great leadership and determination throughout the match and managed to beat a strong Mullinhone side, that at one stage were three goals ahead. It was a team effort built around the leadership of our key players that made this result possible, Well done lads, you did your club proud

We now meet Moyle Rovers in the final this Sunday in Kilsheelan at 2.00 pm. All St Mary’s supporters are asked to come and support the lads.

Under 10s

The U/10 season came to an end this weekend with games against Golden on Saturday and Sunday against Erin Own from Cork . The coaches have asked to express their thanks to all the parents who have stuck with us this year , helping out with transport for matches and training and catering for all the different blitzes we have hosted .Thank you

Under 8s

Our U/ 8s turned out in force last Saturday to take on Golden in a challenge game. With a squad of 36 boys we fielded 3 teams and showed great skill and determination to prove again that our boys are second to none. On Sunday our older boys (born 2004) took on Erins Own from Cork and again did St Marys proud in two hard fought games. Many thanks to all the parents and families who helped out over the weekend . A special mention to our under 8 supporters who have been fantastic all year at home and away.

Under 6s

Also on Saturday, the U/6s played games against Golden in the Sportsfield, performing very well in both grades. Training for both these groups continues as normal this Saturday

Tipperary Draw Winners

Congratulations to two members of our draw who each won €200 in the Tipperary draw. They were David Basquille, Highfield Grove and Michael Ryan, Glenreigh Court.

High School

The best of luck to the High School Harty Cup team this Wednesday when they play Castletroy in Golden at 1.30. St Mary’s have five players on the panel so the best of luck to The Famous Five of Ross Peters, Liam Ryan, Richie Gunne, Eric Walsh and Christy Walsh.
