Well done Clonmel Og u-10 girls footballers

Last week our U-10 girls competed in their second blitz of the summer which was held in Ned Hall Park. The girls played three matches against Clerihan, Ardfinnan and Fethard. Most of the girls on this team are new to football and have improved enormously since their last match. All their training and hard work paid off last week with the girls winning two of their matches. Their work rate and team work in those games was excellent and a great time was had by all the girls.

U/12 Hurling

We qualified for the quarter-finals of The Tommy Finn Memorial Tournament after a series of great matches against Ballingarry, St Catherine’s of Cork and Danesfort of Kilkenny. It was a wonderful experience for all these players and supporters to go away for the day and experience playing in a tournament of this nature and great credit to all involved and it was brilliant to see all the players so well turned out and so well behaved. On Wednesday August 15 we play the host club Clonea-Power in the quarter-final and we wish the lads all the best. The following weekend our two U/12 teams are due to play the South semi- finals of The Premier Games so please check Clonmel Og Face Book site for details.
