Tipperary senior hurlers have their first outing under new boss Eamonn O’Shea on Sunday.
They play UCC in a challenge at Emly.
The game is a fundraiser for an extension to Emly National School.
It will be a major community event in Emly but is also an important occasion for O’Shea as he
prepares the team for a new season.
Tipp’s first outing in the Waterford Crystal Trophy will be against either Limerick or Mary I. on January 27 and the
the first game in the National League is away to Cork on February 23.
Sunday’s game in Emly has a 2pm start.
