Champions Carrick Swan are out of this year’s South senior hurling championship after failing to fulfil their semi-final replay fixture against Mullinahone on Sunday.

The South Board have awarded the game to Eoin Kelly’s Mullinahone who now meet another Carrick side, Davins, in the final in Clonmel on Sunday.

Swan, who are expected to appeal the decision, say they had too many players unavailable to play the game on Sunday night.
