The O’Donoghue Motor Factors U21 A Championship is in 2 Groups of 3 Teams with the top 2 in each Group to play Semi Finals (1x2) - the same system will apply to the Halls Alarms U21 B Championship with 2 groups of 4 teams - there is no U21 C football in the county in 2013.

In U21 A there are 2 games down for decision at 12.30 on Sunday, the first in Clogheen should be the pick of the weekend when Ardfinnan take on Ballyporeen who would be slight favourites in Group 2 while in Group 1, Moyle Rovers could find it difficult to overcome Anner Gaels (Fethard/St Patricks) in Ned Hall Park

The opening game is on Saturday in Monroe in B Group 1 with Carrick Swans favoured over one of the new amalgamations Fr Sheehys/Ballyllooby Castlegrace. On Sunday (all games at 12.30) the second game in this Group sees Ballingarry take on another amalgamation Grangemockler/Carrick Davins in Mullinahone with this game hard to call,

Group 2 sees 2012 South Champions Clonmel Og take on Cahir in Ballylooby with the outcome very close. The final game of the Group sees Mullinahone 2012 finalists face a tough test with Killenaule in Kilsheelan, Admission to all above games €5

The South Board at its adjourned convention last week presented the Maurice Davin Memorial Committee, Carrick On Suir, with a donation towards the erecting of a monument at Davin Park with the festivities planned for June 1 to 3.
