Hurling training continues on the Lawn each Tuesday and Frtday night, except of course when we have a challenge game.
It is good to see all the old faces coming back, but not so good to see that not enough lads are putting in more than one night weekly, even allowing for lads away in college or on shift work.
The year is moving on so let’s have a full turn out from now onwards.Lets get ourselves out of this “B” division.
COUNTY CLUBS DRAW
Canvassing for the Co Clubs Draw is now in full swing. All members, absolutely all, are expected to play their part in this promotion.
We readily accept that cash is tight during the recession but everybody, waged or unwaged, young or old, player or non-player, can be a promoter. Full details, promotional literature, etc,can be had at any training session, from any officer, or direct from the draw co-ordinator at 0861049196 or 0526125876.
Prospective members will be interested to hear that in future all current draw members will have the option of associate membership free of charge which means that they and their families can have free access to our grounds for jogging or walking,or even a puck around.
