O’Brien on Tipperary team instead of suspended clubmate Grogan

Tipperary will be without the suspended Brian Jones and Barry Grogan when they take on Sligo in the Allianz NFL Division 3 in clash in Sligo on Sunday. Both received straight red cards against Cavan last Sunday. Donagh Heffernan joins Eoghan Ryan in midfield in place of Jones while Grogan’s Aherlow team mate Bernard O’Brien slots into the full forward line.

Hugh Coughlan, who came on as a half time sub for George Hannigan against Cavan and was one of Tipp’s best players in the second half, retains his place in the half forward line where Sean Carey loses out.

Sunday’s is a must win game for Tipperary following four successive defeats in the league that leaves them in a relegation dogfight.
