Well done to Moyle Rovers minor ladies team who qualified for the county final following a well deserved win over Commercials last Sunday Morning in Monroe.

This was a very good game of football and our girls responded well to the early Commercials challenge.

Commercials took the lead with an early goal but our girls soon responded with a goal before Commercials went ahead again with another goal.

From here on our girls began to work harder and some wonderful scores followed.

We were in a commanding position at half time, leading by 4-4 to 2-0.

A further goal and a point soon after half-time gave us a comfortable lead but Commercials pressed all the way and they in turn scored a third goal.

Well done to all the panel and our reinforcements introduced into the game Orla Ryan, Danni Di Ruzza,Abbie Kiely, Claire Moore and Evrena Everard.

We ran out winners 6-10 to 3-0. Best of luck to this talented and committed team as they take on Cahir in the county final.

A lot of our club players were involved with their schools recently. Hard luck to the Loreto Clonmel senior team who were beaten by Ballincollig in a very close game. Loreto lost by a single point to end their championship hopes for 2013.

Well done to the Presentation school on winning both the senior and junior games to advance to Munster semi-finals in both grades and we wish them all best in their next games. Our club was well represented on all teams.
