Tipperary failed to build on their impressive start in the National Football League by being held at home by Waterford.
Hopes were high for Tipp’s prospects of getting out of Division 4 this season following the opening day demolition of Carlow away.
But Waterford proved a tougher prospect at Clonmel and deserved a share of the spoils, Tipp 0-12, Waterford 1-9.
Three points from the first two games is a reasonble start but Tipp must regain the momentum in their remaining fixtures in what is a competitive division despite its lowly status.
