The Tipperary senior hurling championship is down to the last four following quarter finals on Saturday and Sunday.

Champions Thurles Sarsfields are on course to make it three titles in a row and they are joined in the last four by Mullinahone, Clonoulty-Rossmore and Drom-Inch.

Tipperaray captain Eoin Kelly helped South chapions Mullinahone to an extra time win over Borrisoleigh, West champions Clonoulty were too good for Nenagh and Drom-Inch caused a surprise in knocking out longtime kingpins in Tipp, the ‘Greyhounds’ from Toomevara. Sarsfields beat their Mid Tipp rivals Loughmore-Castleiney.
