Busy time for Clonmel Og underage teams

Mixed results for our U12 teams last week with the Div 4 boys losing at home to Fr. Sheehy’s (2.04 to 6.03). The Div 2 side however recorded a good win against Fethard on a score of 7.05 to 2.04. Still early days for both teams but the signs to date are very encouraging.

The senior footballers had another good run out when we welcomed Ardfinnan to Ned Hall Park on Saturday evening. Despite both sides being without a number of regulars, a decent hour of football ensued in ideal conditions.

Senior preparations have been going well but we look forward to the return of our injured players.

Our U6s had a terrific morning of hurling and football out in Clerihan on Saturday. We played 3 hurling and 3 football games and a great time was had by all. Sincere thanks to Clerihan and Bernard Brennan in particular for the kind invitation and the refreshments afterwards.

Also on Saturday, the U8s travelled to Monroe for a blitz. We fielded two teams, playing against Kilsheelan, Swan, Moyle Rovers, & Fethard – winning all our games. Well done all concerned.
