As the New Year begins so too does the massive preparations involved in helping players develop skills and getting teams ready for competition. A number of our teams are back at training.

The U 16s resumed on Tuesday night. The U 14s are training on Sunday evening in the hall. The U 12s have resumed training on Thursday evening indoors at 7-8 pm.

New members always welcome. Great fun and fitness to be enjoyed by all. We wish all players, teams and Management teams the best of luck for the forthcoming season.

A reminder that mouthguards are compulsory for all players, from Minor grade down, for both training and competition. This also applies to under 18s who train or play on adult teams.

Best of luck to our county panel representatives who have the great honour of representing themselves, their families and our club on various Tipperary teams. A lot of dedication and commitment is required by them and their parents to get to training, which is additional to club training.

On the Tipperary U 18 panel we have Hazel and Megan Shanahan and Sarah Everard. On the U 16 panel Shania Dowling, Derbhile Fitzgearld, Michelle McMeel, Evrena Everard, Kristy Crotty Ryan and Orla Burke.

On U 14 we have Amy and Louise Norris, Aine Fitzgearld and Emma Cronin.

The intercounty championship begins on March 1 with the Tipperary U 14 team taking on Limerick.

Club Sympathy is expressed to Gemma O’Dwyer and the O’Dwyer family on the death of Michael O’Dwyer, Clonacody.

Camogie. The club hold their AGM this Friday night at 8.00pm in Monroe.
