Successful year for lady footballers

Having retained the County U16A title at club level this year, Cahir Ladies Gaelic Football Club were well represented on the county ladies teams at both U16B and Minor B, with Aoife Corcoran U16 County Captain, team mates from the club were Aisling Moloney, Aoife O’Donnell and Eileen Flannery. The girls enjoyed a victory in the All Ireland Final, with Aoife Corcoran presented with the All Ireland Cup and Aisling Moloney was presented with ‘Player of The Match’.

At County Minor B level, Aisling McCarthy was the Minor County Captain, team mates from the club were Aoife Corcoran, Aisling Moloney , Roisin Howard, Emma Buckley, Keely Halpin, again the Minor All Ireland final was a fantastic game of football and team captain Aisling McCarthy was presented with the All Ireland Cup and was also presented with ‘Player of The Match’.

Young Player of the Year, the highest honour for Cahir Ladies Gaelic Football Club this year is taking place at the Ladies Football All Star Night in Dublin when Aisling Moloney will receive ‘The Munster Young Player of The Year.’
