GAA clubs across Tipperary have until Friday, September 6 to enter Ulster Bank GAA Force – an initiative which supports local GAA clubs across the country by offering them the chance to win support packages to refurbish and upgrade their facilities.

Once again, one lucky GAA club will receive the top prize of a support package worth €25,000 and four runners-up (one from each province) will receive a support package worth €5,000 each.

The winning clubs will then carry out improvements to their GAA facilities during the planned 2013 Ulster Bank GAA Force Winning Weekends.

Speaking about the initiative, Seán Óg Ó hAilpin, Ulster Bank GAA Force ambassador, said: “Ulster Bank GAA Force received a record number of entries in 2012. Ulster Bank GAA Force is about highlighting the important role that GAA clubs play within their communities, whilst, at the same time, bringing communities together to get behind their local clubs and GAA teams. Over 100 clubs have already entered this year and I would encourage all clubs across [Insert County] to enter before the September 6th deadline, for the chance to make a real difference to their club and community.”

Clubs can register for Ulster Bank GAA Force, until 6th September 2013, at www.ulsterbank.com/gaa. The first 100 clubs to register for the initiative will also receive a support package worth €100.
